What paperwork and formalities are required for SBI Credit Cards?
If you are looking to apply for a SBI (State Bank of India) credit card, then it’s better that you know about the required documents beforehand to avoid much hassle. As per the rules set by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all the credit card customers are requested to abide with ‘Know your customers (KYC)’ norms and furnish requested information and documents timely. - A photocopy of self-attested UID/ Aadhar Card
- A photocopy of self-attested current residence address proof
- Duly signed KYC declaration form
- A photocopy of self-attested PAN card or form 60
- One recent self-attested passport size photograph
As a proof of residence, one can submit any of the acceptable officially valid documents to abide by KYC norms. These documents are passport, voter’s ID card, driving license, job card issued by NREGA duly signed by an officer of the state government, or a letter issued by National Population Register (NPR) containing details of name and address.
